Founded in 1999, Aspex specialises in the development of software programmable media processors, based around its ASProCore DSP fabric.
Aspex ’s flexible, software-defined platforms deliver three significant business benefits:
- Faster time to market
- Lower risk
- Reduced development cost

Aspex developed the 6th and 7th generation ASProCore architectures for its "Linedancer" family of Extreme Processors, launched in 2004, which have been successfully targeted at professional image processing applications, such as Machine Vision, Digital Cinema & Studio/Broadcast Video Compression.
Aspex's products are supported by a range of development tools, libraries, reference designs, training and support services to help our customers get to market.
