28/09/2008 - Unanimis makes Sunday Times Tech Track 100
Unanimis, the digital advertising group, is recognised in the Tech Track 100 published by the Sunday Times. Unanimis is 12% owned by SPARK Ventures plc.
Average sales growth over the three year period between 2004 and 2007 amounted to 44.2%. Ticketmaster and Lovefilm (ranked 2nd in the same survey) are two of the commercial websites that use Unanimis to boost their revenues from advertisers and sponsors. Last year Unanimis secured new contracts with the European social networking sites Netlog and Stardoll. Founded in 2001 by Khalil Ibrahimi and Damon Reeve, the company has grown annnual revenue consistently from £5.9m in 2004 to £17.7m in 2007.
The 2008 Tech Track 100 is researched and compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events company that ranks Britain's fastest growing private tech companies and provides a network for their owners and directors to meet. Tech Track 100 ranks companies based on sales growth over the last three years. Growth ranged from 36% pa to 422% pa, with sales typically between £5m and £30m.
Companies on the league table have developed a diverse range of products and services, including synthetic bone graft material (ApaTech, No 5), online DVD rental (Lovefilm International, No 2), computer games for third party publishers such as Lucas Arts (Rebellion, No 83), and business software developer (IRIS Software, No 46).
Half of the league-table companies are owned by founders or other entrepreneurs. Internet and network services companies occupy 13 places in the league table.
